RIIWHS202E Enter and Work in Confined Spaces is a nationally recognised course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to enter and work safely in confined spaces in various industries. This course is designed to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills to identify and control hazards associated with confined space entry, including the selection, inspection, and use of equipment.
The course covers a range of topics, including the identification of confined spaces, risk assessment, permit systems, atmospheric testing, and the selection and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Participants will also learn about safe work practices, including the use of communication and emergency procedures, as well as rescue techniques in the event of an emergency.
