RIIMPO205E Operate Roller/Compactor is a nationally recognised course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate rollers/compactors safely and efficiently in the resources and infrastructure industries. This course is designed to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills to operate rollers/compactors in various working conditions.
The course covers a range of topics, including pre-operational checks, operational techniques, load and haul procedures, shut down and secure equipment, and hazard identification and risk management. Participants will also learn about the importance of communication and teamwork in the workplace, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements for operating rollers/compactors.
The RIIMPO205E Operate Roller/Compactor course is suitable for workers in the resources and infrastructure industries who are required to operate rollers/compactors as part of their job role. This course is suitable for workers who operate rollers/compactors in a range of working conditions, including mining, quarrying, and construction.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to operate rollers/compactors safely and efficiently and will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO205E Operate Roller/Compactor.
This training is competency-based however is normally run over 1-2 days.
