RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights is a nationally recognised course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights in various industries. This course is designed to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills to identify and control hazards associated with working at heights, including the selection, inspection, and use of equipment.
The course covers a range of topics, including the identification of hazards and risks associated with working at heights, the selection and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and the selection and use of various types of access equipment, such as ladders and scaffolding. Participants will also learn about safe work practices, including the use of fall prevention devices and rescue techniques in the event of an emergency.
The RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights course is suitable for workers who are required to work at heights in various industries, including construction, mining, and maintenance. The course is suitable for workers who may need to access rooftops, elevated work platforms, or other elevated work areas.
Upon completion of the course, participants will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely at heights and will receive a nationally recognized Statement of Attainment for RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights.
