HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is a nationally recognised course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide CPR in emergency situations. This course is designed to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills to respond to a range of cardiac and respiratory emergencies and provide lifesaving intervention.
The course covers a range of topics, including the assessment of emergency situations, recognition of cardiac and respiratory arrest, provision of CPR, use of defibrillation, and safe work practices. Participants will also learn about the legal and ethical responsibilities associated with providing CPR and the importance of communication and teamwork in emergency situations.
The HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course is suitable for workers in various industries, including construction, mining, hospitality, and healthcare. Upon completion of the course, participants will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to provide CPR in emergency situations and will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
