CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level is a nationally recognised unit of competency that provides training to individuals who want to obtain a high-risk work licence to perform basic rigging operations.
The course covers the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively use basic rigging techniques to move and place loads using various types of rigging equipment. The course is designed to equip participants with the skills required to undertake the role of a rigger, including conducting risk assessments, selecting, and inspecting equipment, communicating with crane operators, and conducting basic lifts.
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive all required documentation to lodge for a high-risk work licence.
