HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is a nationally recognised course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response in various emergency situations. This course is designed to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills to respond to a broad range of first aid emergencies, including the provision of CPR, management of bleeding and fractures, and the management of a range of medical conditions.

Course Description

The course covers a range of topics, including the assessment of emergency situations, provision of CPR, management of bleeding and shock, management of burns and fractures, and the management of a range of medical conditions, including asthma, anaphylaxis, and diabetes. Participants will also learn about safe work practices and the legal and ethical responsibilities associated with providing first aid.

The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course is suitable for workers in various industries, including construction, mining, hospitality, and healthcare. The course is suitable for workers who may need to provide first aid in a range of emergency situations, including in the workplace or in the community.

Upon completion of the course, participants will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to provide first aid in a range of emergency situations and will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
