RIIMPO301E Conduct Hydraulic Excavator Operations is a nationally recognised course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to operate hydraulic excavators safely and efficiently in the resources and infrastructure industries. This course is designed to ensure that workers are equipped with the necessary skills to operate hydraulic excavators in various working conditions.
The course covers a range of topics, including pre-operational checks, operational techniques, excavation procedures, shut down and secure equipment, and hazard identification and risk management. Participants will also learn about the importance of communication and teamwork in the workplace, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements for operating hydraulic excavators. It enables the successful participant to apply for an excavator licence (Qld).
The RIIMPO301E Conduct Hydraulic Excavator Operations course is suitable for workers in the resources and infrastructure industries who are required to operate hydraulic excavators as part of their job role. It’s also suitable for those who require an excavator licence (Qld). This course is suitable for workers who operate hydraulic excavators in a range of working conditions, including mining, quarrying, and construction.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to operate hydraulic excavators safely and efficiently, receiving a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO301E Conduct Hydraulic Excavator Operations. They will also be eligible to apply for an excavator licence (Qld).
This training is competency-based however is normally run over 1-2 days.
