Forklift training is too important to leave to the amateurs. You need to trust a professional to provide you with forklift training when and where you need it, at an affordable price and that meets Australian legal and safety requirements. This also applies if you work as a forklift operator and need a licence. Failure to have an accredited licence can lead to serious injuries or fines.
Training and Personnel Australia can offer you forklift training courses as a Registered Training Organisation for forklift operations in the Northern Queensland area through our new Cairns training facility which covers Burdekin, Charters Towers, Hinchinbrook, Mackay, Palm Island and Townsville.
We offer training courses for forklift trucks of all kinds, including counterbalance, reach, rough terrain, internal combustion, petrol, diesel, gas or electric forklift trucks. We also provide training courses for operating trucks and other heavy machinery, including articulated haul and bulk water trucks, overhead cranes, gantries and more.
Our Accredited Forklift Truck Training Course is based on state and territory licensing requirements and the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High-Risk Work. It creates an employable skill, and no prior experience is needed. The forklift operating course teaches drivers to safely and successfully operate a powered industrial truck with a mast and elevating load carriage and attachments, including a fork arm. On completing the course the forklift driver or operator will be able to use, start and stop the forklift to conduct routine checks and move loads in a safe manner.
The forklifting course will cover both required practical skills and mental knowledge, such as Health and Occupational Safety requirements as well as the verbal and non-verbal signals used to communicate while using a forklift.
Training and Personnel Australia are able to adjust this course to the specific requirements of an organisation if requested and offer a wide variety of payment plans that suits every pocket and budget. You can also easily enrol and complete your assessments online. Contact Us
